Grilled Cheese for Phase 3

Phase 3 recipe

P3 Grilled Cheese

Quick Grilled Cheese Sandwich

2 slices of Julian or Ezekiel Bread
White Cheese of choice
Butter

Spread butter on outsides of breads and add cheese in the middle. Fry in fry pan or George Forman Grill until browned and cheese is melted. Quick and P3 friendly 🙂

    I can't WAIT to try this. How long do you suggest waiting before adding this bread?

    Amy I would wait until your weight has stabilized well and then add it in. It is the best choice for reintroducing bread. Carol has added it in and is still below her LDW

    I added it the first week of P3, but I used later in P3 on R1 and did fine with it. This time I couldn't wait. I would wait if you have hesitations and then just do a half of a slice to start introducing. enjoy!

    Some have no issues adding this bread immediately and other weight a few weeks for stabilization to set in. I personally waited for 3 weeks maintained stabilization and then added this in. Carol has no problems with this bread and has used it consistently.

    Ezekiel bread?? Can we use any one like the purple one with raisins or should it be the Orange only…

      Most find the orange one compatible for p3. Some have used the purple without any issues. P3 is all about finding your tolerances. 1/2 slice is a serving so proceed with slow portions and test your tolerance.
