Guilt Free Bread

Carol’s Facebook Quicktips #15

Giving up flour and sugar doesn’t mean you have to give up bread! And you don’t have to feel guilty! The sprouting process creates a whole protein that is close to the protein found in milk, eggs and whey. So the next time you eat your sprouted bread, enjoy it guilt free!  Try Ezekiel or Julian Bread products.

That’s for P3 right? Can I have it on Phase 2? I am a vegetarian and I am so tired of the eggs and cottage cheese.

I think it would be okay for you to have on P2. I never tried it, but I know others have had it on P2. You may want to try it and see how you do. Do you like tofu? You may want to try that as well.

Is there a suggested limit one should have of sprouted grain bread? For example, 2 slices per day etc?

1/2 slice is a serving. Go slowly and introduce to test your tolerance.
