P2 Cabbage Soup

If you haven’t tried this recipe it is delicious and I still eat it in P4.

Phase 2 recipe

Chicken & Cabbage Soup

100 grams chicken
2 C. Cabbage
2 C. Low Sodium Chicken Broth (or 1 C. Water, 1 C. broth)
2 Tbsp Bragg’s amino acids
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. Chopped onion
Seasonings to taste: Garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Mrs. Dash, salt & pepper

Cook chicken in broth mixture along with spices. Let simmer for a few minutes after the chicken is fully cooked. Add cabbage and cook until desired tenderness of cabbage.

(1 protein, 1 vegetable)

    I also make this. But I add a few more seasonings. I add a dash or 2 of cumin, & chili powder , poultry seasonings and a small dash of cayenne pepper, garlic powder and onion powder, plus salt and pepper. I use very little broth only about 1/2 cup because it slows my weight loss. Put about 3 cups water in the pan and let it boil down some. This is very tasty.

    you have to weigh your chicken on a food scale. it’s very important that you do this in order to have great success. The “C” is for cup. Enjoy, this is a good recipe 🙂
