Did you know that protein raises your metabolism? Studies show that protein can increase the burning of calories by up to 25%. So make sure you get in your protein – shakes, Greek Yogurt, lean beef, chicken … It takes more energy for your body to digest protein and that extra energy burns more calories!

    Your website has helped me so much. I am currently in phase 2, i want to make sure i do everything right. I will be starting phase 3 the 500 calorie diet tomorrow and i was wondering if i could eat steamed veggies?? Also is there a protein shake i can have to replace the meat for lunch and dinner??

    oh phase 2 can you substitute the meat or the whole meal for a 25g proteins shake. its 100% whey protein

    no you need to get your protein from animal sources.. Try the apple chicken
    salad if you need a portable meal.
