Steel Cut Oats for Phase 3

Carol’s Facebook Quick Tips #18

Blueberry Almond Steel Cut Oats

A good hearty breakfast is a bowl of steel cut oats. This is the best type of oatmeal because it is a true whole grain. It will help lower your cholesterol and stabilize blood sugar levels. I add almond or coconut milk, blueberries and almond slices. It takes a little longer to cook, but very tasty.

I didn’t think you could have steel cut oatmeal in phase 3 …. isn’t this a carb? Please email me back at gagnedan1@gmail.com . I will soon be starting phase 3 and need to know, thanks! Heather

I am confused. Are there 2 phase 3’s? I thought you could not have starches on phase 3. I see you mention steel cut oats and Ezekial bread on phase 3. Is there a phase 3 stabilization and phase 3 after stabilization? I also will be starting Phase 3 in a few days. Thank you! Linda

Ezekiel is flourless and Carol recommends steel cut for phase 3 stabilized
