<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Tomatoes are naturally low in sodium, saturated fat, cholesterol, and calories. They&nbsp;have a relatively high water content, which helps fill you up! But they are more than an excellent diet food, they are&nbsp;&nbsp;packed with&nbsp;nutrition! One serving (150 g) of raw tomatoes is a great source of Vitamins A, C, K, &nbsp;B6, magnesium, copper, folate, potassium and&nbsp;thiamin.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Tomatoes are also high in lycopene, an antioxidant that can help remove the free radicals in our bodies. These antioxidants help the liver to function optimally, metabolizing and removing toxins from our bodies which is why I like to include in my diet when I detox.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Tomato &amp;&nbsp;Avocado&nbsp;Salad<br></strong>5 Avocados, peeled and sliced<br>2-3 tomatoes, diced<br>1/2 red onion, chopped<br>1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil<br>2 tsp. apple cider vinegar<br>1 tsp.&nbsp;<a href="https://littlechoicesmatter.com/product/signature-blend/">LCM Signature Blend Seasoning</a>&nbsp;(or other Italian seasoning blends)<br>Sea salt and pepper, to taste<br>Fresh Italian parsley for topping</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In a small bowl, mix vinegar, oil, and seasonings. Mix in tomatoes, onions and avocado. Top with fresh Italian parsley.</p>
