<p>5 links Sugar Free Sausage<br />
Coconut, MCT or olive oil, for browning sausage<br />
1 small onion, diced small<br />
1 Tbsp. chopped garlic<br />
2 cups diced zucchini<br />
4 cans chicken broth<br />
2 cans diced tomatoes (with juice)<br />
1-2 cups water<br />
2 tsp. dried oregano<br />
2 tsp. dried basil (I also use fresh basil &#8211; about 3 leaves)</p>
<div>Grated Parmesan cheese for topping soup (optional)</div>
<div>Brown sausage links in oil in until browned. Cut in slices and place sausage back in frying pan and brown both sides of slices. Combine chicken stock, tomatoes, oregano, and basil in medium stock pot and simmer. Add browned sausage. Put onions in pan you used to brown sausage and saute 3-4 minutes, then add minced garlic and cook 1-2 minutes more. Add to soup. Simmer 30 minutes. Cut ends off zucchini and cut lengthwise into fourths, then slice. Add zucchini to soup and simmer 15 minutes. Taste soup for flavor and add 1-2 cups of water if needed. Stir in fresh basil (if using) and cook 5 minutes more. Serve soup with fresh grated Parmesan cheese if desired.</div>

<div>Other spices</div>
<div>2  eggs</div>
<div>1 egg white</div>
<div>Remove and discard the tough lower ends of the asparagus. Wash and cut the spears into 1-1/2-2 inch lengths. In a heavy skillet, sauté the asparagus spears in MCT oil, sprinkling them lightly with salt. Cover the pan and cook over medium hear, stirring occasionally, until asparagus is tender but still firm, about 3 minutes.</div>
<div>Add the green onion to the asparagus, cook for 5 minutes on low.Beat the eggs lightly in a bowl, with salt and pepper. Add the eggs to the asparagus, scrambling the mixture lightly with a fork. Cook 2 minutes or less, depending on the texture desired.</p>

<p>Tomatoes or celery chopped</p>
<p>1 cup vegetable broth or water</p>
<p>1 tablespoon lemon juice</p>
<p>1 tablespoon chopped onion</p>
<p>1 clove garlic crushed and minced</p>
<p>Dash of Worcestershire sauce</p>
<p>Dash of hot sauce</p>
<p>Dash of liquid smoke (optional)</p>
<p>Pinch of cayenne to taste</p>
<p>1/8 teaspoon garlic powder</p>
<p>1/8 teaspoon onion powder</p>
<p>Pinch of thyme</p>
<p>Salt and pepper</p>
<p>Water as needed</p>
<p>Directions</p>
<p>Lightly sauté shrimp or chicken with celery or tomatoes, garlic and onion in</p>
<p>lemon juice until cooked or lightly browned. Deglaze the pan with broth</p>
<p>and add seasonings. Simmer on low for approximately 20-30 minutes until</p>
<p>liquid is slightly reduced adding additional broth or water to achieve desired</p>
<p>consistency.</p>
<p>Makes 1 serving (1 protein, 1 vegetable, 1 fruit)</p>
<p>Phase 3 modifications: Add chopped red and green bell pepper and</p>
<p>additional seafood, chicken, sausage, etc.</p>

<div><strong>Cinnamon Chicken</strong></div>
<p>Ingredients</p>
<p>100 grams of chicken</p>
<p>1 serving Melba toast crumbs</p>
<p>½ cup chicken broth or water</p>
<p>¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon</p>
<p>Pinch of nutmeg</p>
<p>Pinch of cardamom</p>
<p>1/8 teaspoon curry powder</p>
<p>Dash of garlic powder</p>
<p>Salt and pepper to taste</p>
<p>Stevia to taste</p>
<p>Directions</p>
<p>Mix Melba toast crumbs with ½ of the dry spices in a small bowl. Dip</p>
<p>chicken in broth and coat with Melba spice mixture. Lay out 100 gram</p>
<p>servings in shallow baking dish. Add broth and mix in the rest of the spices.</p>
<p>Top the chicken with the rest of the Melba spice mixture. Bake chicken at</p>
<p>350 degrees for 20 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.</p>
<p>Makes 1 serving (1 protein 1 Melba toast)</p>

<p>10-12 stalks fresh Asparagus ( depends on size)  may want to add more if smaller stalks. 1 Tbs of MCT Oil</p>
<div>1 Tbs mock onion soup mix  ( see below)</div>
<div>1 juice of a lemon</div>
<div>fresh garlic</div>
<div>Preheat oven to 450*  Snap off tough cut ends of asparagus.   Place asparagus on a foil lined baking sheet.  Squeeze the juice of the lemon along with some fresh garlic over asparagus. Place in oven for 5-8 minutes, depends on size of stalk.  Remove from oven ,  mix  MCT and Onion soup together, and pour over Asparagus, toss asparagus lightly in pan.  Place back in over to finish cooking.  5-8 minutes, again, depends on stalk and desired crispness.</div>

<p><strong>Grilled Skirt Steak/Flank Steak</strong></p>

<li>100 grams or 3.5 oz of Skirt Steak</li>
</ul>

<li>Seasoning salt/other spices</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div>Dry the meat very well before grilling (to get a nice brown crust) and because the steak is relatively thin, you&#8217;ll need to cook it uncovered and over very high heat. A couple of minutes per side should be sufficient for medium rare.</div>
<div>
<p><strong>Roasted Asparagus</strong></p>
<div>
<ul>
<li>8-10 Stalks asparagus spears</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<ul>
<li>1/2 Red onion, thinly sliced</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div>
<ul>
<li>1 Tbs MCT oil ( if you have it) this replaces Olive Oil</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div>
<ul>
<li>Fresh garlic</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div>
<ul>
<li>Salt and pepper to taste</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div>
<ul>
<li>Juice of one lemon</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div>Preheat oven to 500*  Snap off tough cut ends of asparagus.   Place asparagus on a foil lined baking sheet.  Drizzle with MTC oil , garlic and  spices.  Toss gently.  Add red onions on top for a bit more flavor and squeeze desired amount of lemon juice.  Bake for 8-12 minutes ( larger stalks take longer) or until roasted.</div>

<li>2 handfuls of Spinach</li>
<li>tbl. Butter</li>
<li>2 cups shredded cheese of choice</li>
</ul>
<p>Preheat oven to 350 degrees.</p>
<p>In an oven proof pan, sautee the diced onions in the butter.  Add diced tomatoes and spinach.  Season with salt, pepper, and garlic salt.  When spinach becomes wilted, add the eggs and shredded cheese.  Give the pan a good stir to make sure the ingredients are evenly dispersed.   Set pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes or until frittata appears fluffy and dry.</p>
<p>Slice into pie shaped pieces and enjoy!</p>
