Grilled Skirt Steak/Flank Steak

100 grams or 3.5 oz of Skirt Steak

Seasoning salt/other spices

Dry the meat very well before grilling (to get a nice brown crust) and because the steak is relatively thin, you’ll need to cook it uncovered and over very high heat. A couple of minutes per side should be sufficient for medium rare.

Roasted Asparagus

8-10 Stalks asparagus spears

1/2 Red onion, thinly sliced

1 Tbs MCT oil ( if you have it) this replaces Olive Oil

Fresh garlic

Salt and pepper to taste

Juice of one lemon

Preheat oven to 500* Snap off tough cut ends of asparagus. Place asparagus on a foil lined baking sheet. Drizzle with MTC oil , garlic and spices. Toss gently. Add red onions on top for a bit more flavor and squeeze desired amount of lemon juice. Bake for 8-12 minutes ( larger stalks take longer) or until roasted.

We have a guest blogger today. We welcome any of you who would like to share your story to send it to us via email and we will be happy to post it.

Hi everyone, my name is Jacob and I am on day 3 of loading for the hCG diet plan. So far so good! This seems like the easiest part of the diet. I basically just continue with my bad eating habits, throw in some extra junk food and chocolate, and take the hCG drops.

As I am writing this it is 5pm here in sunny Arizona and I am just 7 hours away from going on the low calorie diet. Being a true procrastinator, I have yet to buy a single item on the hCG shopping list. It seems a little strange to be munching on junk food while preparing a grocery list of food that would make any health doctor proud, but it is all part of the “Simeons protocol”. I am really excited about some of the foods like shrimp, crab, and chicken which I love, and a little nervous about what is not on the list like fettuccine alfredo, mashed potatoes, and dark chocolate. One of the advantages of this diet not being “fresh off the shelf” though is that there is a plethora of recipes that sound delicious.

I actually found a recipe for grissini a few days ago and decided to give it a try before I start the diet since I had never heard of grissini before and it turns out they are pretty good. A little too good since my family managed to eat them all up, so I will have to make some more now!

I have asked Jacob to share the Grissini recipe with us and will update this post with it when I receive it.

This is a completely natural way to shed pounds and is a tried and true home remedy that is used all over the globe. ACV stimulates the metabolism and cleansing of the internal organs. It is also very powerful in helping release stored fat cells. ACV is a completely natural product, resulting from the fermentation of apple juice into hard apple cider, then followed by a second fermentation to apple cider vinegar. It is important to be sure you use Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar like Bragg’s. Many commercial products have been pasteurized, filtered, refined or distilled in order to make the product more appealing to the general public. These extra processing steps destroy many of the vitamins, nutrients, and fermentation by-products that are thought to be important elements in ACV’s health benefits and weight loss properties.

Mix one tablespoon of ACV in water and drink before each meal. If you don’t like the taste, so you can mix in some stevia or a little lemon juice.

You can use ACV as your liquid while cooking or sprinkle over your vegetables and salads. Here is a great dressing recipe many love.

Sweet ‘n Sour Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

1-3 Tbsp. Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

Seasonings of choice (Salt, pepper, or LCM seasonings)

A few drops (to taste) of stevia

Mix ingredients in a small container and shake well. Drizzle over salad, spinach, vegetables, etc.
