<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Chocolate Balls</h4>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">1 cup&nbsp;<a href="https://amzn.to/2QdnFwE">almond butter</a>&nbsp;(or&nbsp;<a href="https://amzn.to/2VHBqoq">No-Sugar-Added SunButter Sunflower Butter</a>)<br>1 cup&nbsp;<a href="https://amzn.to/2Qeq8XK">coconut oil</a><br>1/2 cup&nbsp;<a href="https://amzn.to/2Hvwa3r">unsweetened cocoa powder</a><br>1/3 cup&nbsp;<a href="https://amzn.to/2EifYR9">coconut flour&nbsp;</a>or&nbsp;<a href="https://amzn.to/2Ezjyqj">oat bran&nbsp;</a>(<a href="https://processedfreeamerica.org/the-slimming-benefits-of-oat-bran/">a powerfully slimming food.</a>)<br>1/4 tsp&nbsp;<a href="https://littlechoicesmatter.com/product/stevia-extract-1oz/">chocolate stevia</a>&nbsp;(or 1–2 tbsp&nbsp;<a href="https://amzn.to/2YERuJp">monk fruit sweetener</a>)<br>1/16 tsp pink&nbsp;<a href="https://amzn.to/2YGmPvg">Himalayan salt</a></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Melt coconut oil over medium heat in a small pot and add almond butter. Combine well and add dried ingredients and stir until well-combined.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Add more sweetener if desired.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Pour mixture into a bowl or a&nbsp;<a href="https://amzn.to/2QhJP0B">silicone mold.</a>&nbsp;and transfer to the freezer to solidify—approximately 60-90 minutes.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Once solidified, remove bowl from freezer and form into balls.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Tip: regularly wash hands under cold water to avoid coconut oil melting in hands.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Place formed balls on a flat tray or plate and return to freezer for 15-20 minutes.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Have you ever looked at the ingredients in&nbsp;Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup? (See below) I’m not surprised that the main ingredient is&nbsp;High Fructose Corn Syrup followed by corn syrup. These syrups have been associated with high blood pressure, depression, fatigue, hyperactivity, and periodontal decay. They are likely from a GMO source. This is not something I want to consume or give to my family.&nbsp;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Heat milk and stir in syrup and stevia.</p>

Although these may look like a yummy snack or dessert, this energy bar is perfect for breakfast, too.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Heart&nbsp;Healthy Chocolate Energy Bars</strong><br>1-½ C.&nbsp;<a href="http://amzn.to/2Cy8iq6">pitted dates</a><br>⅓ C.&nbsp;<a href="http://amzn.to/2Fj2nYQ">raw cacao</a><br>⅓ C.&nbsp;<a href="http://amzn.to/2GvcyJg">chia seeds</a><br>1 tsp.&nbsp;<a href="http://amzn.to/2FgBHbn">vanilla extract</a><br>⅓ C.&nbsp;<a href="http://amzn.to/2Fh25C0">unsweetened coconut flakes</a><br>¼ tsp.&nbsp;<a href="https://littlechoicesmatter.com/product-category/salt/">Himalayan pink sea salt</a><br>1 C.&nbsp;<a href="http://amzn.to/2BF8UNL">walnut pieces</a><br>¼ C.&nbsp;<a href="http://amzn.to/2sI5Ygr">chopped dark chocolate or dark chocolate chips</a><br>⅓ C.&nbsp;<a href="http://amzn.to/2sENCwZ">oats</a></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Place dates in blender or food processor; purée until a thick paste forms. Add cacao powder, chia seeds, vanilla, coconut, and salt. Pulse until all ingredients are combined.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Remove mixture from food processor and place into a bowl. Mix in walnuts, chocolate, and oats.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Cut a considerable length of&nbsp;<a href="http://amzn.to/2EHr4RZ">wax paper</a>&nbsp;and place one end of it into an 8×8 pan. Press mixture into pan.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Once it’s pressed into all corners, flip it over and remove from the pan. Wrap the block tightly with the excess wax paper and place in the refrigerator overnight.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the morning, unwrap the block and cut into bars. Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.</p>

The fermentation process is slightly different, so the benefits will be as well. I’m fairly dairy-free but I do enjoy yogurt in moderation.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Thanksgiving is just around the corner and let’s face it… it’s time for all things pumpkin!&nbsp;This recipe is so easy and a must-have for the fall and winter baking!</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Pumpkin spice has amazing benefits for improved health. Here are just a few benefits to each of the ingredients.</h4>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ceylon Cinnamon</strong>&nbsp;contains 41 different antioxidants which are highly effective at fighting inflammation throughout the body.&nbsp;Cinnamon helps you lose weight by helping increase your metabolism i.e. helping increase how you burn calories, and by extension fat.&nbsp; It can also lower blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. <p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ginger</strong>&nbsp;work wonders for your digestive tract as well ad you circulatory system. It is a well-known anti-inflammatory and stimulant, which is great for&nbsp;blood flow helping to&nbsp;keep your mind alert. As an added bonus it treats upset stomachs, diarrhea, and nausea as well as help prevent infections.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Nutmeg</strong>&nbsp;is a great for detoxing the kidneys and liver. Nutmeg also promotes healthy digestion and is often used as a pain reliever. Nutmeg is also used to ease digestive tract upsets, such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. The magnesium in nutmeg encourages sleep and relaxation.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Allspice</strong> lowers inflammation and reduces pain. Allspice boosts the immune system and improves circulation by offering the copper and iron that red blood cells need. The antimicrobial and circulatory stimulating properties of allspice support the body during colds and flus making it a great fall spice to consume.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Cloves</strong>&nbsp;are loaded with antioxidants, including vitamin C, cloves protect the body from free radicals. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">Homemade pumpkin pie spice not only saves money, but it’s more tasty than the store bought version. This recipe is a well balanced mix of warm spices that will add flavor to anything you desire. Use in muffins, smoothies, granola, oats, dips, potatoes and many other baking recipes. You can even add a pinch to your favorite coffee or teas!</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Pumpkin Pie Spice</h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">3 tablespoons ground Ceylon cinnamon<br>2 teaspoons ground ginger<br>2 teaspoons ground nutmeg<br>1 ½ teaspoon ground allspice<br>1 ½ teaspoon ground cloves</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Place all ingredients in a small mason jar. Put the lid on and shake to mix.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">While purchasing apple sauce is great, if you prefer homemade unsweetened applesauce, we’ve got&nbsp;a yummy recipe. If you do purchase apple sauce, make sure it doesn’t come with added sugars.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It’s so easy to pull this off – it’s just mixing applesauce with some Pumpkin Spice Stevia then sprinkle it with this great&nbsp;DIY Pumpkin Spice.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dark Chocolate Blueberry Clusters</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips, melted</li><li>1 Tbsp coconut oil</li><li>2 cups blueberries</li><li>Flaky sea salt</li></ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, mix melted chocolate with coconut oil. Spoon a small dollop of chocolate on the parchment and top with 4 to 5 blueberries. Drizzle chocolate over blueberries and sprinkle with sea salt.</p>

<p>To create this tasty treat, you&#8217;ll want to grab:</p>

<p>Throw all of these ingredients into a blender and mix it until the ice is good and crushed. You can decide if you need more vanilla stevia after you taste it. (I like to use just a little bit and it does foam some, so add a little at a time).</p>
<p>Another alternative &#8211; if you have difficulty getting in enough leafy greens, you could add a handful of spinach to this drink and use regular stevia. You can&#8217;t even taste the spinach!</p>

1 tsp. ground cinnamon  (or apple pie spice)<br />
Pinch of nutmeg (or apple pie spice)<br />
1 Tbsp. water<br />
English toffee stevia to taste</p>
<p>Slice apple into very thin slices. Arrange in layers in a round 3 inch crème Brule dish. For each layer, sprinkle generously with cinnamon, nutmeg, and powdered stevia. Continue layering with spices until dish is full. Sprinkle lemon juice, apple cider vinegar and water over the apple slices. Drizzle with English Toffee Stevia, if desired. Bake at 375 for approximately 20-25 minutes or until apples are cooked and top is slightly crispy. Serve warm.</p>
<p>Extra yummy with a grissini stick crumbled over it &#8211; but make sure you count it as one of your two servings for the day.</p>

1/2 c. coconut milk<br />
1/2 c. Greek Yogurt<br />
3 Tbsp. organic coconut oil, melted<br />
1/3- 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa or carab powder<br />
3 Tbsp. raw organic honey<a href="http://www.netrition.com/cgi/goto.cgi?pid=505-0004&amp;aid=3267"><br />
</a>8-10 drops liquid stevia<br />
2 tsp. organic vanilla extract</p>
<p dir="ltr">Spoon out avocados and put in food processor along with remaining ingredients. Process until ingredients are well combined and smooth. Cover and refrigerate until cool. Mix with whole whipping cream or top with chocolate delight pieces, if desired.</p>
