P3 Bloody Metamucil Mary

Here’s a great morning drink! Delicious and kick starts your system!  A special thanks to Arlene Caruso for submitting this recipe!

Bloody Metamucil Mary

2 oz tomato juice (11 calories)
2 or 3 tsp psyllium husk powder
juice 1/2 lemon
1 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
Splash tabasco
water to fill glass

Mix tomato juice and psyllium well, add some water before it solidifies. Add other ingredients, then fill (10 oz) glass with water and stir. Looks and feels like tomato juice! Follow with another glass of plain water, then a nice big mug of yerba mate, and you’ve had your first quart of water for the day and a fiber flush

(* taking a capsule of simethicone will prevent distress from bloating*)

      yes you can have psyllium on p2 as a supplement
