Fried Radishes
If you miss potatoes there is a special surprise that the radish brings. When cooked it loses its hot flavor and takes on the texture and taste of potato. This is a simple easy to follow recipe. You can make it in 15-20 minutes. You can also add other spices and get really creative with these. I know some will use Daikon radishes and shred them into hash browns. Eating healthy does not mean you have to give up some of your favorite foods just find a good healthy supplement. I love potatoes but they always make me gain weight. Likely because I overeat them when I do have them. Try this recipe you will bot be disappointed.
Fried Radishes
Sliced Radishes- 1 bag
1T of Coconut Oil
1/4 tsp of minced garlic
1/4 cup of chopped onion
Himalayan Sea Salt
Melt the oil in a frying pan and add in the salt, minced garlic and chopped onion and saute. After the oil and onions are ready add the radishes. You can add a lid if you would like them to soften quicker. I usually just fry on medium until brown for about 20 minutes.
Melt the oil and add in onions and minced garlic and sea salt.
Sliced scallop style radishes
Would this be ok in p2?
yes
I thought no oils were allowed on P2 at all!
I’m confused 🙁
For P2 you can use coconut oil???
YUMMM!! These are so great!! Thank you!!
While On P2, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil each day is allowed. Our bodies burn off and use the fat/calories found in the oil, as energy! So no need to count the calories from the 2 tablespoons of coconut oil 🙂
How many servings is this recipe… ?
this is one serving. Calories for radishes are 1 calorie per small red radish and these are sliced.
the whole bag is 1 serving? <3
These were delicious and I HATE radishes!
Can you cook it in MCT oil instead of coconut oil?
Yes- This is the way I always make mine
Love this. I like to shred them: Crispy Hash Browns :C)
