P3 Reduce Inflammation and with Baked Salmon
Salmon is known for being rich in long chain Omega-3 fatty acids which can only be obtained through diet. These essential Omega-3s are known to suppress inflammation and keep the immune system working to fight against viruses, sickness and disease.
Baked Salmon
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper just a pinch if using finely ground black pepper
- 2 tsps minced garlic
- 1 tsp Italian herb seasoning blend
- 1 medium lemon
- 2-3 green onions, sliced
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease a large baking pan.
Arrange fillets on the baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. Stir together olive oil, garlic, herbs, and juice of 1/2 lemon. Brush onto the fillets. Be sure to rub all over the tops and sides of the salmon so it has no dry spots. Top with green onions.
