Honestly all time favorite is the Flinstones Christmas movie, Been watching it now for many many years, the whole family loves to sit down and watch it because not only is it a great Christmas movie, But I get to be a kid again when watching it. I love watching it with my sisters and brother which we don’t get to do anymore because they live far away. Merry Christmas everyone.

Its a Wonderful Life.   I remember when small town used to string lights across the street in the down town area.  Seemed like it was always so lit up.  The smell of Fresh cut tree’s when they came into town.  It always gave town the smell of Christmas.  If you have ever smelt it you know what Im talking about.  And the excitement of Christmas time as a young child.  I will never forget that.

Not necessarily a Christmas story but it culminates at Christmas ….. an affair to remember. Cary grant and deborah Kerr (who always reminds me of my mother) fall in love but separate vowing to meet atop the empire state building (remember sleepless in Seattle? ). The appointment is missed but come Christmas time the handsome gentleman discovers the reason his lady love missed the date. Kiss and make up and all ends well.
And I start crying a out half way through every time;)

Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s my siblings and I would always look forward to the cartoon’s that would come on at night.  Peanuts Christmas, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman.  These bring back awesome memories of those times.

can be blown out of perportion and turn us into animals. Such a reminder of all that we need in our lives is love it is all that really matters

Growing up, my favorite Christmas movie was “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. I remember snuggling on the couch watching the movie at night and being surrounded by the excitement and atmosphere of the Christmas Season. My mom would go all out and decorate the house to the nines! Now, as a parent, I love to snuggle on the couch with my girls and watch “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” with the lights off and the Christmas tree lit, and MY house decked to the nines!! It makes me feel warm fuzzy. 😉

Lots of choices, but I would have to say A Christmas Carol (the Alistair Sims version).  Growing up we watched it just about every Christmas season.  Now that I have my own family, we attend Christmas Eve service, come home to a homemade lasagna dinner, and finish trimming the tree while we watch the movie.  It helps me to remember trimming the tree with my brothers and sister while I was growing up, and I can hear my mom saying “Put the tinsel on one strand at a time” and dad saying that next year we were going to have a smaller tree!  They’re both gone now, so it’s nice to have traditions that they started, and to pass them on to my children and grandchildren!
