My favorite ornament on my tree is a surfing pelican.  It’s a representation of where we live – and it’s totally cool…see??

It is tradition in our family to start our tree decorating with the same ornament every year.  It is a long, big nail.  We talk about how it symbolizes the greatest gift that we have at Christmas…the birth of Christ and his ultimate sacrifice for us!

Too many to choose from!! So, closing my eyes I choose the Baby’s first Christmas…It’s a Bonnet-wearing stork delivering my baby to us, the babe wrapped and dangling from strings from her beak.  My son was a long dreamed and prayed for gift. The best gift in my life to this day.

My favorite is a small nativity that was paint by my grandmother.  It reminds we just how amazing she is to our family.  And what Jesus is to our family also.

My favorite ornament on the tree is a pair of ballerina slippers that my mom bought for me when I was a gymnast and ballerina! They are my favorite because I used to sit at the tree and stare at the sparkly pair of ballerina shoes hanging from the tree and dream about being a professional ballerina some day. Now I catch my daughter sitting by the tree and staring at the same pair of ballerina slippers on my mom’s tree and when I asked her why she loves them she said ” I want a pair of sparkly ballerina shoes like that one day when I become a ballerina”. 🙂

I have several favorites, but my the one that makes me smile every year is one from Hallmark. My sister sent it to me and it is of 2 sisters sharing an umbrella. On top of the umbrella it says “whatever the weather a sister is a friend forever”.

I turned all those sports buttons you buy when your child in in sports into ornaments by twisting a pipe cleaner to the back.  It is like logging your child growing up and recycles those precious buttons you wore so proudly 😉   my favorites!

My favorites are two my mom got me when I was a little girl and she saved them for me.  One is  a pink gingerbread girl that has sparkles on it.  The other is holly hobby.  They were both purchases back in the mid 80’s and I love them.  Each year I get my son and step daughter an ornament that reflects their current interest and we put the date on them so when they move on they can them all to start their first Christmas trees.

I have so many favorite ornaments because my mom gets each member of our family a new one every year to mark what is going on for us that year.  I lost my dog katie last year and my mom bought me an ornament that looks like her…that is my favorite

My favorite ornament is The Bumble placing a star on a Christmas tree, from the movie Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer. It reminds me of the first time I saw it and laughed like crazy. I was probably 4 yrs old.

My favorite ornament on the tree is one that has my boys pictures on it when they were little. They are now 26 and 29. I look at that ornament and think back on all the fun we had when they were given GI Joes and Ninja Turtles as gifts for Christmas.

Naked angels are very special to me because they are not gender specific.  My own personal naked angel hovers on top of my  Xmas tree and represents good spirit and christmas cheer.

one of the ornments I love my son made in kindergarten…it is an angel and he made his black.  When he gave it to me he said mom I made my angle black because everyone else made theirs white.  The way kids see things is so amazing.  He is twenty one now and still doesn’t want anyone to be left out.

My favorite Christmas Ornament that hangs on my tree is an old
“Christmas Ball” made out of a pipe cleaner. In 1971 on my first date
with my husband he took it off a tree at the Holiday Inn ball room and
gave it to me. It has hung on our tree every year since then to
commemorate our first date. It is very battered and worn…after 38
years. But very special to me.

Too many to choose from.   Tree decorating is an event at my house as
all of the ornaments invoke memories.  They are either handmade (my
first Christmas in my own home), or they are collected (snow baby), made
by children or grandchildren, purchased on trips, or received as gifts
from so many different people.  Celine

My favorite ornament on my tree. Is a crystal ornament of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. I was a surrogate last year. My surro baby Lucas came 3 weeks early on Dec 9th. It took a village for Lucas Daddy to have biological child of there own. I was blessed to carry Lucas.
