my favorite was my the one we had on our tree growing up. It was an angel made out of cloth and I can still picture it all these years later. I’m bad when it comes to buying a nice one for my own tree!
We had a star that lit up on our tree last couple years and this year my husband was putting it up and wanted to trim the top point off tree….after telling him not to cut the cord….. the lights went out…he accidentally cut the cord to it….so we had a good laugh
A star….by far my favorite. That little star led the wise men.
My favorite tree topper was an Angel I always loved angels. It was a sign of love, peace and faith, to be united as a family and love one anither.
We have an embarrassingly ratty looking little angel that sits on top of our tree. She’s been there every year since our oldest son was 3 and he’s 41 now. Every year when I pull her out, I say “Gee, we should really replace her.” But she’s been there through all five children (youngest will be 17 next month) and no one in the family wants to get rid of her, so up she goes every year:o)
I have a bit of a Charley brown tree and all the ornaments are made to look old or homeade. The topper is an angel that looks knitted and is off white. It looks antiqe but its not…I bought it at Walmart a few years ago.
I have a beautiful star that is gold velvet with rhinestones on it . It is representing the announcement of Jesus Christ birth. I love having the star because it was a star that came to me in the heavens and it is how salvation found me in the darkness and brought me to the light .
I love the old fashioned glass ornament toppers – I finally have one!
My son made a tree topper out of paper when he was in Kindergarten, he’s 22 now. This is my favorite topper as it is something mothers just love. A cute little topper where he poured his little heart out making it. Of course, we didn’t use it every year because our other 2 kids thought brother’s was dumb, lol…but, now I love pulling it out and reminding him that he made it.
Am angel w a ceramic collie head 🙂
We have a star that lights up on the top of our tree. It is a little to small for this year’s tree, and it is only held on by pipe cleaners, but it is a reminder of the star that led to the place of Jesus’ birth. It is beautiful for what it represents.
I have an angel on my tree now which just seems fitting on a Christmas
tree, but I often remember the one we had when I was a child. It was
silver with bells on the sides and it had angel hair in the center of
it. If I ever see one in an antique store or garage sale, I would
certainly buy it!

We always had a beautiful crystal star on top of our tree!
I have a couple of toppers but my tree is to little this year to have one so I have a sprig of pine with ribbon poked on it ..Really kinda cute
I usually use a star, but do love angels as well.
I have a star-shaped tree topper with lights this year. My son found it in the Christmas decorations and insisted it was the one to use.
