P2 Texas Dirty “Rice” (Beef & Cabbage)
An incredibly delicious and fast low carb meal! So delicious the whole family will enjoy this recipe!
P2 Texas Dirty “Rice” (Beef & Cabbage)
100g lean ground beef
2 cups cabbage finely chopped into rice sized pieces (I used a food processor)
1 cup chicken broth or water
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 – 1 Tbsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. minced onion
2 cloves garlic, crush and minced
Himalayan Pink Salt & pepper, to taste
Serve with Frank’s Hot Pepper Sauce.
In a large frying pan, brown beef over medium high heat. Add the rest of ingredients and cook until cabbage is tender adding more water or broth as necessary. Cook down until no liquid is left.
Serve hot. Count as (1) veggie and (1) protein
