This is day one of the portocol and I shopped for what my money would handle and I started the plan Aug 29th. I did ok with the am as I usually do but it’s the evenings and nights when I come home from dancing to an empty house that I eat. I have been feening 8 0zs of wateron weight watcher’s cream sicles and strawberry smoothies. I eat the entire box of 8 at one sitting and will then start on Kroger orange cream bars which has 12 in them. The calories are between 70-80 calories per bar. I seem unable to control the sensational desire that I have for these bars and that is often my daily meal but I am still gaining weight. I do eat them in bed after a good dance workout but I’m hungry! I know I have a deficit mentality but it is out of control. I had the lap band surgery in 2007 and I vacillate between losing 30-50 lbs. I am up 20 lbs and will not get on the scale because I have a bulimic past. I have the drops and I really want this to change my life. I ate 15 melba toast, drank 8 ozs of water. I fell bloated now. I wish I could have stopped at one but they seemed to have been calling me for more. My email address is: samantha6834@ameritech.net; phone number: 313-779-7858. Help me with getting through the night.

I think you are so hungry because you are dancing. Dr. Simeons recommends not working out – but if you do, it is a better choice to eat protein rather than the choices you mention. Have your family help you – don’t have these items in the house until you can get under control. Increase your drops and protein when you are hungry.

Tomorrow is a new day! Wake up to a fresh new start! plan ahead so you have healthier choices on hand. If you choose to dance, then make sure you have protein on hand so you are not famished when you are done.

I also suggest reading some of the books we discuss, including the one Dr. Naomi is talking about.

I hope this has been helpful.
