Phase 2 Recipes
This week I will start listing some of our favorite Phase 2 recipes. Enjoy your time with your family and friends during the holiday! Let’s kick off 2011 with a plan to achieve our goals!
P2 Chicken Soup
100 grams chicken breast, cubed
1 1/2 C. chopped celery
2 C. Chicken broth
1 Tbsp onion
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
Salt and Pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients together and bring to a boil. Simmer and cook for 20 minutes or until chicken is done.
Carne Asada with Stir Fry Cabbage
3.5 Oz steak, flank or regular, cut it in strips
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 lime, juiced
1 tsp Amino’s
fresh garlic
Pinch of chili powder
Onion powder
Cumin
Dash of dried onions
2 Cups chopped cabbage
Marinate for an hour. Read More
100g shrimp (peeled & deveined)
4-6 cloves minced garlic or 1-2 t garlic paste
2 Tbs chicken broth or 2 Tbs MCT oil
Other spices, pepper, sea salt, etc..
Heat nonstick pan over MED-HI heat.
Mix of the broth with pepper, minced garlic, and other spices. Add to pan.
Cook less than a minute. Be sure not to burn the garlic.
Add shrimp. Cook 3 minutes.

3.5 oz chicken
Juice of a lemon
Spices :
Chili powder
Fresh garlic
Seasoning salt
Onion powder
Minced onion
Paprika
Lettuce / spinach or both 🙂
Cut up chicken into tiny bite size pieces, fry them in the pan with the spices. Adding lemon juice to flavor. Fry until completely cooked.
Prepare lettuce and add the chicken to the lettuce, either warm or cooled. Use the rest of the lemon on top for extra flavor. May top with small amount of salsa if desired.

2 lemon slices
1 t oregano
salt/pepper

Sweet ‘n Sour Vinaigrette Salad Dressing
1-3 Tbsp. Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar Seasonings of choice (Salt, pepper, Mrs. Dash) 1 packet of natural sweetener (Stevia, Xylitol) Mix ingredients in a small container and shake well. Drizzle over salad, spinach, vegetables, etc.
Original Tangy Coleslaw Recipe for Phase 2
1/8 C. MCT oil
1 package Stevia powder ( more or less depends on your taste)
1/8 C. Apple cider vinegar ( more or less depends on your taste)
2 tsp plain vinegar ( if needed) Read More
Cabbage Chicken Soup Phase 2
100 grams chicken
2 C. Cabbage
2 C. Low Sodium Chicken Broth (or 1 C. Water, 1 C. broth)
2 Tbsp Bragg’s amino acids
2 cloves garlic, minced Read More
Carne Asada with Stir-Fry Cabbage Phase 2

Chicken Kabob with Roasted Cabbage Phase 2
1 medium-sized head of green cabbage
2 T MCT oil, or Braggs amino
1/4 cup chicken broth (if desired)
2-3 T fresh squeezed lemon juice
Braggs organic Spices ( or your own choice)
Lemon slices, for serving cabbage (optional) Read More
Cabbage Rolls Phase 2
1- head of Cabbage (if you want to make for the whole family)
2lb- Lean meat of your choice
3c- Diced tomatoes
1c- Onion Flakes
Peppers (Pepper flakes or Mrs. Dash Chipolte seasoning) Read More

Can we use Coconut Oil to cook with on Phase 2?
Yes you can, coconut oil is different from any other kind of oil in the way
it stores. It is very healthy for you and will not effect your fat stores..

Where is the recipe for the apple chicken salad shown in the picture above next to the chicken soup recipe? I know there are apples and chicken, but what do you use to replace the mayo? And what else is in it? Thank you

Can we eat broccoli and caulliflower on Phase 2?
for some it does. this recipe is for phase 3 however.. just be careful and
stick to protocol as it is best..
no only use the veggies from Dr. Simeons list on phase 2
