Chicken Asparagus Bake
Phase 2 recipe
100 grams cubed chicken
2 Tbs Liquid Aminos
2 Tbs MCT oil or ½ cup chicken broth or water
1 Melba toast crushed (optional)
1 clove garlic crushed and minced
2 tablespoons onion chopped
Dash of onion powder
Dash of paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Place chicken in Liquid Amino’s to marinate for an hour adding garlic if desired. Add Chicken to asparagus, liquids, and spices and pour into small baking
dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly and hot. Top with
crushed Melba toast crumbs and sprinkle with paprika.
Makes 1 serving (1 protein, 1 vegetable, 1 Melba toast)
we just had this for dinner, was very good, didn’t look as pictured. wasn’t sure how much asparagus to put in it. I hope I didn’t mess up.
also, there is a list in phase II of salad dressing and one calls for cottage cheese, I didn’t know we could have daily products in phase II while on the drops.
I made this last night. It was good but def didn’t look like the picture. I used 15 spears of asparagus and cut them up.
I have celiac what could I use in place of the Melba toast
I would just skip it and add in more veggies
