Extra Virgin Raw Coconut Oil
Coconut oil has been much discussed by those on hCG as a way to lose weight. We believe that coconut oil can boost energy, while decreasing cravings for carbohydrates and sweets. It is known to stimulate metabolism, improve digestion, and release fat cells. It also gently stimulates the thyroid.
Coconut Oil’s fat molecules are shorter than other fat molecules, which basically means that our bodies use them immediately for energy and do not store them as fat cells. Coconut Oil encourages the right kind of bacteria in the colon–it is the preferred food for the kind of bacteria you want to have there.
Coconut Oil is low in calories, low in fat, and nutritious, while providing the body with an energy source instead of carbohydrates. Every body is different and ever body reacts differently, so if you are one to stay away from it during any phase, try it and see how your body reacts. Most hCG users rant and rave about the use of Coconut Oil.
There are many sources of coconut oil on the market. Extra virgin coconut oil will have more of a coconut taste, whereas refined coconut oil is tasteless. This oil can become a solid if it gets too cold, usually below 76 degrees it becomes more solid. Some keep it on top of your refrigerator to help keep it soft or liquid.
Coconut Oil will indeed assist in raising Ketone levels which causes the release of fat. This can be proven by testing your urine with Ketosis stick.
Use Coconut Oil for baking, cooking, sautéing or in your favorite health shake. Also, amazing as a beauty product – for hair and body. Suggested use: 2-3 teaspoons per day.
With all the concerns about using lotions and oils on our skin during the diet, would this product be acceptable for use topically on the skin to keep it hydrated and moisturized?
I have used coconut oil and cocoa butter on my skin in the past with favorable results, and it smells good too.
I will confirm this. I know when I open the jar and smell it, I just want to eat it. I love coconut.. I will let you know. I know on the skin fat and absorption of calories is key. It also can block the fat from releasing that is why it is limited to what you can put on your skin. Let me check on this and get back to you.
Thanks
It looks like 2-3 tsp a day is recommended amount for Coconut oil. As with anything of Simeons protocol I recommend monitoring the affects at the scale. If you see it effecting discontinue and use on the recommended approved skin care products. Thanks

and especially the recipes
can you use coconut oil during phase 2?
Hi there… I have a question. If we take the coconut oil, does it go towards our caloric intake? One tbsp is 120 calories… Would we subtract that from our 500 a day allotment? Much thanks and appreciation
I'm interested to know if people who have used coconut oil during P2 have been able to stabilize and maintain during P3 and P4? I'm worried about the long term effects
Carol Ensminger often used MTC and coconut oil during P2 and she was successfully able to stabilize in P3. We do not believe that these oils should cause any long term effects. The short term effect would be a gain, in that case we recommend that you do not use them.
Please visit the new page dedicated to coconut oil and mct oil on the right column of the blog 🙂
I love it when you post, I always learn something new. Thank You
Your welcome! We are glad to help.
I have heard if you use Coconut Oil or have the Coco delights on P2 It can be really hard to stabilize in P3. How did all of you do in P3? Dd you find it hard to stabilize?
I think Kevin Trudeau says you cannot use any oils during phase 2. So far I only have used coconut oil in phase 3 and still use it today. But some say they have been sucessful with a small amount occasionly while cooking with it like 1 teaspoon. Others say it messed up phase 3 for them. Monitor it closely. I do recomend coconut oil for most your cooking needs after you are done with phase 2 as it is a healthier way to cook the rest of your life.
