MSM for Tighter Skin
MSM for tightening saggy skin? In the past I have taken MSM because it’s good for joint problems and is included in my Glucosamine tablet. Before taking it, I did a little research on it and I found it’s good for your hair, skin and nails. Okay, bonus. But now I’m researching and finding out it’s also good for your saggy skin! Great news for so many who are on the weight loss train.
What exactly is MSM? MSM (methyl-sufonyl-methane) is more of a food than a supplement. It’s a naturally occurring sulfur compound found in all plants, soils, fruits, vegetables, fish, poultry, eggs, meats and milk. It is organic sulfur, a naturally occurring compound in the human body. It’s found in every cell in the body, and is structurally and functionally important to 150 compounds, including hormones, enzymes, antibodies and antioxidants. Our bodies use MSM to create new healthy cells so it’s important that we have it in our system. MSM is found in our typical diet, but as foods are processed, MSM is destroyed. Another reason to not eat processed foods! So taking MSM is like getting back to a healthy raw foods diet.

Carols’ response: I personally would not take the liquid. I have seen some of the ingredients of liquids and Iโm not happy with what they put in it. Some even have fructose, which is a sugar and even though itโs considered a โnaturalโ sugar found in fruits, it still effects people. I do not do well with it. So, I would do pure MSM.
PS it is of to use MSM in P2 ๐
Carol says you can take the powder form in phase 2.. watch for any hidden sugars in ingredients
In the video he mentions he takes MSM in a liquid form. And in your Marketplace it is a pill form… which is better? And I am also curious if MSM is ok for P2 and in what form?? ๐

I just purchased the 100% pure MSG in capsules, each is 1000 mg. What dosage would you recommend?
I take about 2 scoops a day. You have to see how it works for you and then up the dosage if needed.
Carol, how many tbsp or tsp is in your scoop. I have NOW and it didn’t come with a scoop. Thanks.
It’s about 1 tsp.
couldn’t find the answer posted to Ashley or Rachel’s question…can MSM be taken while on Phase2?
Powder is preferred as I have seen some of the liquids contain hidden sugars.
Yes you can take MSM vitamin on Phase two.. ๐

Make sure on Phase 2 you take the powder formula only. Some of the liquid formulas have hidden sugars. Always read your labels ๐
How many mg’s should you take a day?ย I bought 1000 mg capsules. Should I take one or two?ย Directions say one… but….. would more be better?
It varies I take about 3000 but many take more.

You can take pills/flakes in all phases unless you see it’s causing a stall in p2 but haven’t seen that yet.. Cream save for p3
