Organic Apple Cider Vinegar for Weight Loss

January 6, 2010 7 Comments

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) and the associated weight loss health benefits have been a topic of conversation for decades. This is a completely natural way to shed pounds and is a tried and true home remedy that is used all over the globe. ACV stimulates the metabolism and cleansing of the internal organs. It is also very powerful in helping release stored fat cells. ACV is a completely natural product, resulting from the fermentation of apple juice into hard apple cider, then followed by a second fermentation to apple cider vinegar. It is important to be sure you use Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar like Bragg’s. Many commercial products have been pasteurized, filtered, refined or distilled in order to make the product more appealing to the general public. These extra processing steps destroy many of the vitamins, nutrients, and fermentation by-products that are thought to be important elements in ACV’s health benefits and weight loss properties.

Mix one tablespoon of ACV in water and drink before each meal. If you don’t like the taste, so you can mix in some stevia or a little lemon juice.

You can use ACV as your liquid while cooking or sprinkle over your vegetables and salads. Here is a great dressing recipe many love.

Sweet ‘n Sour Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

1-3 Tbsp. Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

Seasonings of choice (Salt, pepper, or LCM seasonings)

A few drops (to taste) of stevia

Mix ingredients in a small container and shake well. Drizzle over salad, spinach, vegetables, etc.

I can't find Stevia here but I did find Truvia, it's made from Stevia, is that ok for the VLCD's?
